Sunday 4 December  |  Newcomers’ forum

After Meeting for Worship at Friends House, starting at 12.30pm. Newcomers’ forum is an opportunity for those new to Quakerism, and others, to bring up any matter for discussion. In December, Elders invite newcomers and seasoned Friends alike to come together to refresh our understanding of Meeting for Worship. For preparation you may want to read Chapter 2 of Quaker Faith and Practice.

Sunday 10 December  |  Winter Fair

After Meeting for Worship at Friends House, starting at 12.30pm we’re holding our Winter Fair where Friends sell home-made goods and crafts in aid of charities they support. Come prepared to buy some gifts!

Sunday 24 December and Sunday 31 December

Meeting for Worship takes place as usual 11am to 12pm. All welcome.

Charity of the month

In December, we’re collecting for Together Now, a charity that supports refugees reunite with families they’ve left behind through arranging travel and providing additional support. More information here:

Every Sunday  |  Foodbank collections

We’re collecting for our local foodbank at Sunday Meetings for Worship. Please bring along your donations of long-lasting food such as boxes of cereal, tins of fish or meat, long life milk, sugar, long-life fruit juice and instant coffee.
